Vanessa Minnillo Biography!

Early Life
Vanessa Minnillo (Birth Name is Vanessa Joy Minnillo) was born on 9th November 1980, at Clark Air Force Base in Pampanga, Philippines.

Vanessa is of Filipino, Irish and Italian decent as her father, Vince Minnillo, was (an Air Force Aircrew Member) of Irish and Italian extraction, and Helen Berecero, her mother, a Filipina.

Vanessa with her parents and elder brother Vincent, who is two year older, were moved from Filippines to California, Nevada, Florida, Germany, Japan and finally settled in in Charleston, South Carolina. Venessa spent these years in seven different schools. Other than schooling she participated in cheerleading and volunteer work for some local charities.

Vanessa Minnillo parents, Vince and Helen divorced during 1986. The court awarded Helen, the custody of both children. Young Vanessa was allowed to saw her father only on weekends. Later Helen remarried and moved to Turkey with her new U.S. Airforce Serviceman husband. Venissa and her brother followed their mother and step father.

With father & Away from the mother

Gulf War in 1991, forced Helen to return back to United States. She left Venessa and Vincent with their father until she can settle down. That was the last time anyone saw Helen as she never returned back.

By now Venessa’s father was married to Donna, and they both given the kids much needed parental care. Venessa claims Donna is a “best friend.”

Cheerleading & Beauty Pageant

Vanessa always lowed cheerleading and liked to perform in front of audiences. This helped Vanessa to win over the judges of Miss South Carolina beauty pageant in 1996, with her unaffected style and natural ebullience.

Later Vanessa Minnillo went on to win Miss Teen USA on August 17th of 1998. After her second pageant win in three years, Vanessa has concentrated on college, acting, and modeling.

Vanessa Minnillo started getting more and more media attention and became a popular figure as she was the finalist E!’s competition for the Wild On show hostess to find a replacement for Brooke Burke. She is a co-host in TRL since 2003 and become ET correspondent since 2005.

Currently Vanessa Minnillo resides at her New York City home with her family, Evie and Mason - son and daughter - and her pet dogs
